Feedback (whistling)
Whistling that can occur when amplified sound is picked up again by a hearing-aid microphone.
Fit, earwax, fluid, device condition and settings are among possible factors. NIDCD advises asking an audiologist about a hearing aid that whistles rather than assuming one fix applies.
