Who writes HearingSherpa
HearingSherpa uses the Sherpa Editorial Desk as a collective byline rather than inventing a named “expert.” The current reviewer registry is empty: no audiologist or physician has signed off the retained guides. Each guide makes that pending status visible and links the sources used.
How we research a piece
- Traceable health claims. Retained guides list at least two authoritative sources with visible access dates and link important claims inline.
- Commercial data is separate. Offer cards use the existing feed; their stored verification date is not a clinical endorsement. Reconfirm seller terms before buying.
- AI use is disclosed. AI may assist drafting and structure. A page is not represented as clinician-reviewed until a real qualified reviewer signs it.
The full scoring formula, fact-checking and corrections policy live on our rating & review methodology page.
